Dokajin Kontagora dissociates, distances self from fake app’t letter

The Dokajin Kontagora, Dan Mainan Lapai, Sardaunan Matasan Nupe, Alhaji Muhammadu Rabi’u Daja has distanced himself from the purpoted appointment letter supposedly emanating from the office of the Secretary to the Niger State Government, appointing him as the Sarkin Yakin Zone C.

The purported appointment letter that was circulated and trends on different social media platforms which the office of the SSG since described as fake, false, fabricated and bears no authenticity, adding that the letter was just the imagination of the author.

In a letter addressed to the Secretary to the Niger State Government by Isyaku Barau & Co. Sudan Chambers, Solicitors for Dokajin Kontagora, Muhammadu Rabi’u Daja, dissociated and distanced his client from the purported appointment letter.that falsely claims he has been appointed as Sarkin Yakin Zone C by the Niger State Government.

The letter stated that “Our client is a respected public officer serving the government of the federation of Nigeria and holds the traditional tittles of Dokajin Mai Sudan of Kontagora Emirate, Danmainan Lapai of Lapai Emirate, and Sardaunan Matasan Nupe of Bida Emirate.”

The letter further described the Dokajin Kontagora as a philanthropist, who has contributed significantly to the welfare of the people of Niger North, Zone C, and Niger state in general, therefore, not a politician, adding that their client’s charitable activities are purely humanitarian, seeking the pleasure of Allah.

Dokajin Kontagora, through his solicitor, described the incident as shocking when he was informed about the post on the facebook page of one A’isha Sulaiman, falsely announcing his appointment as Sarkin Yakin Zone C, by the Niger State Government.

He described the whole scenario which was relayed in Hausa as fraudulent, adding that government appointments were not usually conveyed in Hausa language.

The letter further stated that Muhammadu Rabi’u Daja is a law abiding citizen; therefore, conducted an independent investigation which revealed the identity of person managing the facbook account that posted the purported appointment letter; whose identity was Zayyad, Sardaunan Pai.

The authorities according to Daja’s solicitor, has taken over the matter in order to safeguard and protect the good image of their client.

Dokajin Kontagora, Danmainan Lapai and Sardaunan Matasan Nupe has further reiterated his disassociation with the fake facebook appointment letter and his desire to see justice served.
